NEW YORK

When my family and I visited New York City, we wanted to see everything. We had a long list of places to visit, things to do with the kids and restaurants to try.The city is so big and the streets are so busy, I don’t think even a month trip would be enough to see New York City, unless you lived here!New York is a great city there is so much to see, but it’s huge, so if you’re planning on walking around like we did, the best way to get around is on the subway. It runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week and doesn't cost much.We bought the $30 Metro-Card for seven days which gave us unlimited subway and bus journeys.

One of the places we visited was the World Trade Center Memorial. Two waterfall reflecting pools set within the original bases of the Twin Towers are etched with the names of the victims. I remember this horrible day, I was in high school when I heard the bad news. The memorial is a beautiful outdoor space open to the public. There is also the museum indoor, it is underground actually, where you will find photographs, personal items, and you'll hear telephone calls from those inside the towers after being hit.

You can't go to New York without checking out the Top of The Rockefeller Center! It's one of the most popular attractions in New York City. You will see the Empire State Building, The Hudson River, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and Times Square from the top. We went during the day, and I'm not gonna lie, the line was huuugee, but it's worth it! It's definitely one of the best panoramic city views.

The SoHo neighborhood is located in lower Manhattan. It is one of the most famous neighborhoods in New York. I love the buildings here!SoHo has the greatest collection of cast-iron architecture in the world! There are around 250 cast-iron buildings in New York City. This area is full of boutiques, art galleries and trendy restaurants. If you love to shop then this neighborhood is the right place for you!

My absolutely favorite neighborhood in New York is Brooklyn Heights. Brooklyn Heights apartments styles are as diverse as they are pricey. With charming tree-lined streets, historic churches, rows of stunning centuries-old brownstones, coffee shops, charming eateries and bars, you can't help but fall in love with this place. Some of the best views Brooklyn has to offer can be seen from the boardwalk in Brooklyn Heights. On the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, you’ll find panoramic views of Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge.Under the bridge is the famed River Cafe. There is a waterfront park with seasonal attractions, and not to forget the trendy neighborhood of DUMBO, where you can see old houses and factories that have been converted into art galleries, shops, apartments, and restaurants.Truly, the best thing to do in Brooklyn Heights is to just wander.
